School ethos on PE and school sport

We aim to instil in our children, throughout the school, a lifelong love of PE and sport. All children are given an opportunity to participate in fun and challenging physical activity, regardless of ability.

We aim to give our children a firm understanding of the importance of a healthy and active lifestyle.

What we have done – Took part in the Key Stage 1 Cross County Competition other local schools and achieved 1st, 3rd and 4th places and 1st overall.

All children in FS2 and KS1 participated in Scooter Smart fun day encouraging them to have fun and be safe on their scooters.

Staff have been offered a wide range of CPD opportunities.
