At Ladywood, we aim to inspire all children to become physically confident and succeed to the best of their abilities in both competitive sports and physical activities which support their health and fitness.  We will provide opportunities for pupils to:

  • Participate in a broad range of physical activities
  • Be physically active for sustained periods of time
  • Engage in sports festival and competitive sports

  • Festivals: Mini Games KS1 & 2, badminton
  • Taken classes to work alongside sports leaders at Kirk Hallam School
  • Teacher training: High 5 Netball, Tennis, Dance & Tri-Golf

  • Baseline Assessment – linked to impact of PE premium funding for Ofsted
  • 1 Whole school INSET
  • A further 4 weeks of team teaching support in a PE area of your choice
  • 2 x intra (within school) competitions, with a potential of it being linked to the Partnership competitions events
  • Access to a Change 4 Life bag of equipment and support to start a club for targeted pupils
  • Lunchtime support – mini leaders, playground challenges, developing your playground
